Mumbai, August 26: After several speculations and rumours, we finally have an official date for Apple’s September 2024 event. The much-awaited Apple September event 2024 will occur on September 9 this year. Several rumours suggested that Apple could host its special event on September 10, 2024. Putting all the speculations to rest, Apple has officially announced the special event with a tagline – It’s Glowtime. The Cupertino-based tech giant has started sending out media invites today.
The unveiling event will begin at 10 AM local time, which is 10:30 PM in India on September 9 and will take place at Steve Jobs Theater at Apple Park. The launch event will be streamed online through official social media channels. Apart from the highly-awaited iPhone 16 series, we expect the company to launch the new Apple Watch Series 10 (Apple Watch X) and the Apple AirPods 4 at the event. Apple iPhone 16 Series could include four models – iPhone 16, iPhone 16 Plus, iPhone 16 Pro and iPhone 16 Pro Max. The market rumours also suggest that Apple could introduce a customisable action button and a new capture button on the iPhone 16 series. Another highlight would be Apple’s fastest A18 chipset with AI capabilities. The Pro variants are expected to pack bigger displays, a new 48MP ultra-wide-angle lens and a 5X telephoto camera.

The new Apple Watch Series 10 or Watch X is expected to have a thinner design than its predecessor. It could get a new magnetic mechanism for bands. Some reports also suggest that Apple may introduce a new Apple Watch SE and the Apple Watch Ultra at the event.
Another product that could see the light at Apple’s September 2024 event is the fourth-generation AirPods, which is expected to get an updated design, a redesigned case with Find My alerts, a USB-C charging port, and Active Noise Cancellation (ANC). A few reports suggest a new Pro variant of Airpods 4 could be introduced next year.
