Woman flaunts weight loss after adopting new exercise routine

A TikTok user has showcased her stunning results after embarking on a new exercise routine for just six months.

In a clip captioned: “My love letter to Pilates”, user AnnikaEmmyy proudly shared a before and after montage that has now been viewed more than 21 million times.

The 10-second video begins with Annika posing for the camera and turning 180 degrees to reveal her curves in a black crop top and tight denim jeans.

It soon progresses to show her standing in identical clothing – albeit in a much smaller size – with her shape almost unrecognisable half a year down the line.

Inundated with questions on how she achieved her success, Anneka added that she does “Pilates 3-4 times a week” and that she also tried intermittent fasting.

She explained: “Pilates is a strength training exercise! it’s not as intense as lifting weights but it really helps to tone your muscles. I go to reformer classes so i don’t have the same routine everytime but i really recommend ‘Move with Nicole’ on YouTube, she has great Pilates videos!

And discussing the cost of her workouts, she continued: “I have a package which gives me 16 classes a month and it’s about £300! It really varies depending on what sort of Pilates you do though.”

It prompted thousands of other users of the social media platform to respond, who were amazed by Anneka’s relatively quick transformation.

“Omg I was not expecting this! You are so beautiful!” gushed a fellow TikTok user.

Another wrote: “You’ve given me the confidence to continue. Honestly if you keep trying you make a lot of progress.”

A third declared: “You look amazing and I need this.” And a fourth was so impressed she even asked whether the change in Anneka’s body was part of an “AI advertisement”.

According to the NHS, Pilates is “a form of exercise that focuses on balance, posture, strength and flexibility” and is “suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels.”
