Mumbai, June 22: Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi will be launching an all-new red colour variant of the Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G smartphone in India tomorrow. Once launched, the new colourway will be available onine via Amazon and Mi store. This announcement comes after the Chinese smartphone maker recently introduced an Olive Green colour variant for the handset for the global market. A micro-site is already live on Amazon, confirming key specifications prior to arrival. As it will be a colour variant, overall specifications likely will remain unchanged. Redmi offers Note 13 Pro smartphone in three variants – 8GB + 12GB, 8GB + 256GB and 12GB + 256GB. The price for the 5G handset begins from Rs. 24,999 and goes up to Rs. 28,999. Currently, the phone is available in three shades – Artic White, Coral Purple and Midnight Black. The upcoming Red colourway will be the fourth shade on offer when introduced.

As far as specifications are concerned, the Redmi Note 13 Pro sports a 6.67-inch AMOLED screen with 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rating with Dolby Vision support. Protected by Corning Gorilla Glass Victus, the panel carries a 240Hz touch sampling rate, and 1800 nits peak brightness. It draws power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 SoC paired with 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
For photography, there is a 200MP triple rear camera module with OIS support accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide angle lens and a 2MP macro sensor. The front camera is a 16MP shooter housed in the dot-punch cut-out in the display. It packs a massive 5,100 mAh battery with 67W fast charging support. It runs on MIUI 14 based on Android 13 OS, and the company has promised three major OS updates.
