Mumbai, June 23: After launching the GT 6 mid-range smartphone, Chinese tech giant Realme is heading towards the launch of its new budget phone in India. As confirmed on Flipkart via a microsite, Realme C61 is ready to be launched in the country on June 28. Additionally, the micro-site gives us a clear look at the phone’s design, carrying a dew-drop notch upfront and a dual rear camera with an integrated metallic frame. The image also reveals that the phone will have volume rockers and a power button positioned on the right edge. It might get a USB Type-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack placed at the bottom. The company has yet to confirm details of the upcoming phone. However, PassionateGeekz recently tipped vital information and pricing of the phone.

The pocket-friendly offering from Realme could sport an HD+ display with a resolution of 720X1600 pixels. The phone might get a UNISOC Speedtrum T612 SoC under the hood, likely to be paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage. For optics, the phone may come equipped with a dual rear camera setup comprising a 50MP primary sensor and a secondary AI lens. It will run on the brand’s Realme UI based on Android 14 OS out-of-the-box. It is expected to pack a 5,000 mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.
As Realme C1 will be a budget-oriented smartphone from Realme, we expected it to be priced under Rs. 10,000. It’s worth noting that the brand has remained coy about specifications and other details, and it might vary during the launch.
