“I’ve played around with various tablets in the past, but am very impressed with the Samsung Galaxy A9+ Tablet! Really good performance at a budget-friendly price point. Processing speed is fast, with really smooth navigation and nice split screen functionality. Pre-loaded with some apps, but without a lot of the unnecessary bloatware you typically find on devices. Sound quality is good, and the tablet itself is sleek, thin, and lightweight, for easy daily use. Has an expandable micro SD card port that can handle up to a 1TB card, which is nifty, and there are lots of neat options built into the OS that make it feel very modern and enjoyable. For the price, this should satisfy most of your needs and give you a lasting tablet without breaking your budget. Only con is that the camera is just okay, but it’s not a deal-breaker as tablets aren’t primarily used for that these days anyway. “Image quality is crisp and colors are rich. I find it is perfect for the main purpose I intended, which is to read at length. Reading articles or e-books on a computer requires my eyes to travel over a wide distance, which is tiring. The same is true for reading on the small screen of a smartphone for longer periods. The 11” sized tablet is very comfortable for reading, both in terms of typeface size and screen size. I also play videos on this tablet. The speakers are pretty good, as well as could be expected on a device this size (in my opinion). I wish the battery life was a bit longer, but it’s adequate. Overall, I recommend this.” — Claude R
“Last April, I bought my Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ as a replacement for my old Windows 10 laptop which I will be forced to retire next year. I was wondering how well this tablet could serve as a laptop replacement, but I needn’t have worried. It does everything my old laptop does, and it does it much faster and much more efficiently. Needless to say, I am very pleased with this device.
The things I like best about my Galaxy Tab A9+ tablet:
1. The 11-inch screen is large enough for me to see clearly with my aging eyes. Colors are vivid, and the text is crisp and clear. I can make the text bigger whenever I need to.
2. The sound is great! The tablet featores four speakers (two on eack end) that pump clean, crisp audio into my room.
3. Processor speed is very fast. Apps open in just a few seconds (or less), and there is almost no lag between my screen tap and program execution.
4. My tablet came with 128gb of storage and 8gb of RAM. I have had no issues with storage space or with slowed-down multitasking. I’ve had as many as 20 apps open in the background at the same time, with no noticeable lag.
5. My tablet came with Android 13 and UI 6.0 unstalled, but both programs automatically updated to Android 14 and UI 6.1 within a month. These latest versions of these programs are outstanding.
6. I bought my tablet with two key essential accessories: a Bluetooth keyboard and a heavy-duty tablet case/stand combination. (I am typing this review on the Bluetooth keyboard right now.) These accessories integrate perfectly with my Samsung Galaxy Tab A9+ and help immeasurably in, making it an outstanding laptop replacement.
